Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for TabHub Pro subscriptions, operated by tabhub.net.

1. The Free tier is, well, free

TabHub Free does not require a payment, so cancellation does not apply. You can stop using the extension or uninstall it at any time. All locally-stored data stays in your browser until you remove it.

2. Cancelling a Pro subscription

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

  1. Open the TabHub extension.
  2. Click the Upgrade plan button in the sidebar footer (or the avatar in the rail bottom).
  3. Select Manage subscription — this opens the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab.
  4. Click Cancel subscription and confirm.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep Pro access until that date, and you will not be charged again.

3. Refunds

Because TabHub is a digital subscription with no physical delivery, we generally do not offer prorated refunds for unused time after a cancellation. Two exceptions:

  • Accidental renewal within 14 days — if your subscription auto-renewed and you contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge before using Pro features in that new period, we will refund that renewal in full.
  • Service unavailability or material defect — if a bug or extended outage on our side prevents you from using Pro features, contact us and we will issue a fair refund or credit.

To request a refund, email support@tabhub.net from the address on your TabHub account, with your Stripe receipt number. We respond within 3 business days and approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (depending on your bank).

4. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge for a few days. During this time your subscription enters a past_due state but Pro features remain enabled. If all retries fail, the subscription is cancelled automatically and your account drops to the Free tier; data is preserved, only the Pro feature set is removed.

5. Account deletion

If you delete your account from inside the extension, any active subscription is cancelled at the same time and your synced data is purged from our servers. Locally-stored data on your devices is not affected — uninstall the extension to remove that.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services where applicable).
