Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-09

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TabHub — a Chrome extension and related cloud service (together, the "Service") operated by tabhub.net ("we", "us", "our"). By installing the extension or signing in, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TabHub helps you organise browser tabs into workspaces, spaces, and collections. Two tiers are available:

  • Free — local-only storage, capped at 3 workspaces, 3 spaces per workspace, and 60 saved URLs per workspace.
  • Pro — paid subscription that removes those limits and enables cross-device cloud sync, browser-history search, and other paid-only features. Pricing is shown on the pricing page.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use TabHub, and at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe to Pro. Sign-in is via Google OAuth; you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription, billing, and renewal

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe at the price and interval shown at checkout. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal accessible from the extension; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. See our Refund Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to bypass Free tier limits, share paid accounts, or circumvent licensing controls;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code for resale;
  • upload or store content that infringes third-party rights, contains malware, or facilitates abuse;
  • scrape, probe, or attempt to overload our infrastructure (for example, automating sync requests beyond normal use).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the URLs, names, and other content you save inside TabHub. By using the cloud sync feature you grant us a limited, worldwide licence to store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell your data and we do not show it to advertisers. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service — including the extension's source code, design, name, and logo — is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service while you comply with these Terms.

7. Third-party services

TabHub uses the following sub-processors:

  • Google / Firebase Authentication — sign-in.
  • Cloudflare — Workers, D1, KV, and Pages hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.

Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the cloud sync service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the Service. The extension's local-only mode continues to work even if the cloud service is unavailable.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that data loss will not occur — please keep your own backups.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from inside the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, paid subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period unless we terminate for cause.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION — e.g. Japan / Vietnam / etc.], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
